I wanted to inform the Nebo family about upcoming changes to the Fine Arts after school programs.  In the past, ASP Drama, ASP Orchestra, and ASP Technology club have been offered as part of the Paulding County after school program.  Because Paulding County eliminated ASP for the 2010-2011 school year, we will need to make some changes to the Fine Arts programs.

For the 2010-2011 school year the Nebo Fine Arts Department will offer Chorus, Violin, Robotics, and Technology Club as extra-curricular after school activities.  Chorus, Violin, Robotics, and Technology will no longer be part of ASP and students will not need to stay in ASP to participate in these programs. 

The tentative Schedule for Nebo Fine Arts Activities for the 2010-2011 School Year will be:  (Schedule is subject to change as details are finalized in August)

Mondays:  Nebo Chorus (3rd, 4th, and 5th Grades):  2:30 to 4:00 PM
Tuesdays:  First Lego League Team Practices (5th, 6th, and 7th Grades) 2:30 to 4:00 PM and 4:30 to 6:00 PM (Two teams)
Wednesdays:  Nebo Orchestra (3rd, 4th, and 5th Grades):  2:30 to 4:00 PM
Thursdays:  5th Grade Technology Club:  2:30 to 4:00 PM
Fridays:  4th Grade Technology Club:  2:30 to 4:00 PM

The Nebo Elementary Fine Arts Activities are not a part of the Learning Bridge Day Care.  However, students in Learning Bridge Day Care may participate in Nebo Elementary Fine Arts Activities.

Please note that these Fine Arts Activities are not Day-Care.  Students staying in Fine Arts will be expected to work hard and follow Mr. Michaud's standards of behavior and productivity.
