ASP Orchestra

Students in ASP String Orchestra will learn to play violin, viola, or cello.  This group is open to any Nebo student who is in ASP and owns or rents a violin, viola, or cello.  The ASP String Orchestra consists of two groups:  Beginning Strings and Advanced Strings.  Beginning Strings will meet on Thursdays from 2:15 to 3:00 PM. Advanced Strings will meet on Thursdays from 2:15 to 3:00 PM.    Mr. Michaud and Ms. Queen will teacher in this exciting program.

Students must provide the following for the Nebo ASP String Orchestra. 

  • Violin with Bow and Case

  • Method Book:  Essential Elements 2000 for Strings

  • Music stand

  • Shoulder rest or large sponge and rubber bands.

Parents may obtain what they need at any local music store.  The following music stores rent instruments:

All ASP programs are PREPAID programs that will cost $6.00 per day.  Students must be checked out in the lobby after the program is over.
